Peter Cauton
Peter Cauton is a longtime HR Practitioner and Serial Entrepreneur, mostly in the hi-tech industry. He started his career in corporate, going up the HR career ladder. He then took the entrepreneurial plunge and founded his first company STORM Technologies in his living room. STORM managed to raise a then local startup record $4.3M in venture capital and has grown to become one of the largest HR services firms in the country. Peter has also recently cofounded freelancer benefits platform ALLCARE, and the digital learning agency BIHASA.
Peter has garnered numerous accolades through his startup work: STORM has won several awards both here and abroad, including winning the country’s inaugural Startup World Cup in 2017, which allowed STORM to represent the Philippines in the global finals in Silicon Valley in 2018. Peter also has the distinction of being the 14th local entrepreneur to get selected by Endeavor, the most prestigious startup founder community in the world.
Peter also does a lot of startup mentorship as well. He was selected as one of the first 3 Filipino startup mentors in Google’s global Launchpad startup accelerator program in San Francisco, and maintains mentor relationships with a few startup founders locally.
Peter finished his undergraduate degree in Management and his postgraduate degree in Psychology, majoring in Industrial and Organizational psychology, both from the Ateneo de Manila. He is an avid Lakers fan, reads one book a week, and dotes on his 6 children together with his wife Pauline.
